NIC Mexico reaches 400,000 .MX domain name registrations

NIC Mexico (Network Information Center Mexico), responsible of the administration of .MX ccTLD, announces that has reached 400,000 domain name registrations under .MX (including in this number all the current classifications .com.mx, .net.mx, .org.mx, .edu.mx, .gob.mx and .mx).

This relevant increase on the number of .MX domain name registrations reflects the fact that users, whether they are individuals or enterprises, recognize an added value in being able to have presence on the Internet and identify themselves with Mexico, at the same time they promote themselves worldwide; among other benefits.

"Today, NIC Mexico has reached more than 400,000 domain names registrations under .MX. This undoubtedly support us to continue with our important mission of Placing the name of Mexico on the Internet, by allowing more users to be able to promote their ideas, business, and culture", commented Oscar Robles, NIC Mexico 's CEO.

NIC Mexico reports today the following stats of .MX domain name registrations on its different classifications:
